We all know the importance of technology nowadays. Without the appliances, gadgets, machines and devices which we are so accustomed to, our lives would be so much different—and perhaps harder, and slow-paced.
With technology being indispensable in our lives, Hollywood succeeds in creating stories involving the gadgets and technological equipment that we have come to love. And these stories, more often than not, are so creatively twisted and scary. Here’s a list of some of the movies which could make us afraid of technology:
1. Demon Seed (1977)
This is a story about a scientist who is working on an A.I. system called “Proteus IV.” Proteus, of course, manages to escape and soon takes over the scientist’s home security system and suddenly decides that it wants to have a child. So it artificially impregnates the scientist’s wife, thus the title, “demon seed.”
